Yellow Rose Films
was the dream child of Tom Proctor, who
began his film career as a SAG actor and stunt man. When he teamed with
a screenwriting partner, sparks began to fly. Margie
Rogers' sophisticated writing and stage experience were a perfect
match for Tom's extreme physicality and explosive film background.
When the world of
high-end digital video was born, Tom and Margie opened Dark
Horse Productions, which produced cutting edge videos known throughout
the martial arts training industry for their high production quality.
Then the fledgling production company turned its Canon XL cameras and
Final Cut Pro editing decks to "Phoenix
Underground." "Riverdead" was shot on Canon XL2s.
Now in post-production
on the 16mm feature film When Shadows Die,
they've come full circle back to shooting on film. Another Super 16mm feature
film, "The Sugar Creek Killer", is slated for a 2006 release.
AMOVIEMAKER team members
come from a wide range of creative backgrounds -- theater, film, stunts,
acting, writing, directing, lighting.
